This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Digital Technical Engineer (Hosting) in Eindhoven with Signify.

We are seeking an experienced Hosting Specialist to manage and optimize our hybrid hosting landscape, encompassing on-premises data centers and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data center compute management, virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, along with deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. Exposure to AWS, Azure Containers, and Kubernetes will be a significant advantage.

What you’ll do:

• Manage & Administer Infrastructure
  Oversee data center compute infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V), storage, and networking.
• Cloud & Hybrid Solutions
  Design, implement, and support Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions and networking; assist with workload migration from on-prem to Azure and hybrid cloud architecture. Maintain basic AWS knowledge for multi-cloud support.
• Performance & Resilience
  Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Security & Compliance
  Apply security best practices across hosting platforms aligned with organizational and compliance standards.
• Automation & Containerization
  Automate provisioning, monitoring, and management using scripts/tools. Work with Azure Containers, AKS, and container-based deployment strategies (added advantage).
• Collaboration & Support
  Collaborate with application, network, and security teams; maintain documentation and SOPs; provide L3 support for hosting-related incidents and requests.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in hosting and compute infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Azure cloud administration.
• Working knowledge of AWS EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Exposure to Azure Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes/AKS is highly desirable.
• Understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery in hosting environments.
