本ポジションでは、サービスエンジニアとして現場作業にも従事いただき、SCADAシステムの設計支援、コミッショニング、トラブルシューティングに加え、ABBのDigital Solutionに関する技術的知見を活かして営業活動の支援も行っていただきます。
また、必要に応じて海外拠点での短期研修や設計業務にも携わっていただくため、グローバルな環境で経験を広げることができます。

In the Japan entity of ABB’s Electrification Business Area, Service Division, you will be responsible for providing services to domestic customers, supporting system design, and contributing to sales expansion.
In this role, you will work as a Service Engineer, engaging in on-site activities. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design of SCADA systems, commissioning, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will leverage your technical knowledge of ABB’s Digital Solutions to support sales activities.
You may also participate in short-term training and design work at overseas offices as needed, allowing you to expand your experience in a global environment.
Work StyleHybrid work model
Business travel: 70–80% (including domestic and international travel)
Support design activities for SCADA systems
Execute commissioning and troubleshooting for SCADA systems
Perform on-site work as a service engineer (including construction sites)
Conduct and support system commissioning, communication testing, and end-to-end testing
Perform final system configuration testing and resolve defects
Provide customer training and retraining
Deliver ongoing post-installation support and services
Develop a strong understanding of ABB’s Digital Solutions
Support technical proposals and sales activities in collaboration with the sales team
Provide technical proposals, implementation support, and respond to customer inquiries
Contribute to software product roadmaps and portfolios through proposals on new features, improvements, and variations
Engage in activities related to:
Software development
Software quality assurance
Software testing
DevOps
Cybersecurity
Release management and maintenance operations
Participate in short-term training (approximately 1 month) at overseas locations when necessary
Engage in design work at overseas offices
Technical college diploma or higher
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with control equipment Including commissioning, communication testing, and end-to-end testing
Practical experience with SCADA systems and network equipment
Business-level Japanese proficiency
Business-level English proficiency (capable of handling overseas training, technical collaboration, and design work)
Japanese Drivers Lisence
On-site experience with power distribution and receiving facilities
Technical knowledge of electrical and power distribution equipment
Proactive and self-motivated
Strong ownership in driving problem-solving
Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Honest and transparent in communication
Curious and willing to continuously learn new technologies and knowledge
