Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Design, build and manage consumer software products and platforms. Automate software development processes for consumer, wealth and business banking applications while ensuring adherence to Citi's security and compliance standards. Develop real-time scalable systems using JAVA/J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle, MongoDB, and Microservice architecture, with the aid of Co-pilot and Co-pilot Chat for code optimization. Design user interface pages tailored to the needs of customers utilizing Angular, mark-up language (HTML), JavaScript, CSS, and JSON. Use IntelliJ, Maven, Junit and Postman to develop real-time scalable systems using JAVA/J2EE, Spring Boot and Microservice architecture. Understand RDBMS programming and writing PL/SQL and SQL queries to store and access data for web applications and execute scripts in Oracle server using Oracle standard tools including SQL Developer, Data Loader, TOAD, and SQL Plus. Containerize services with Docker and Kubernetes and deploy containerized microservices to OpenShift using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools including Lightspeed, Tekton, Harness, and Helm Charts. Incorporate security protocols including encrypting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication mechanisms utilizing PingFederate. Use Node.js to design and develop user interface pages tailored to the needs of customers utilizing Angular, mark-up language (HTML), JavaScript, CSS, and JSON. Onboard APIs to API gateway like APIM and APIGEE for publication on public and private networks. Create Splunk dashboards using Splunk Query Language (SQL) for production monitoring. Use Jenkins, RLM, Git, Bitbucket, Jira to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines. Host applications on OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and AWS. Support application and system engineering, including performance testing and capacity planning. Utilize machine learning methodologies to analyze extensive log data acquired by Splunk in real-time, as well as historical data for model training purposes. Identify unusual patterns or outliers within large volumes of log data and detect potential security breaches, system failures and performance issues, and raise alerts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Data Engineer, or related position involving development and management of software products and platforms. 5 years of experience must include: Spring Boot, Java, Spring, J2EE, Spring Cloud, MongoDB; IntelliJ, Maven, Junit, Postman, Oracle, SQL; Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, JSON; PCF, Splunk; Jenkins, RLM, Git;Bitbucket, Jira. 2 years of experience must include: Applications design and architecture on cloud platforms including OpenShift.
