POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position, Digital Software Contracts Manager, will provide expert digital contracts support to the RTX Enterprise Services Partnerships team.  This role requires a mix of transactional, technology and organizational skills, and the enthusiasm to keep pace with RTX dynamic agenda.

This role is responsible to negotiate and draft contracts, including software license agreements, service agreements, and vendor contracts, with a focus on favorable terms and risk mitigation through collaborating and partnering with suppliers and functional service owners.  The position will also create, maintain a centralized repository for contracts, ensuring accessibility and accurate record-keeping and ensuring proper meta data is captured on key terms.

The ideal candidate will draw from past experience in software (SaaS, perpetual, and subscription) and professional services that can assist with translating this knowledge via contract negotiations.   As this is a fast-paced environment, understanding various licensing models and familiarity of contract law tied to technology agreements is strongly desired.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Execute preliminary contract review and markup, drafting contract amendments, and follow through to execution for MTA, MSA, Order Forms and NDAs and associated amendments
  • Liaison with Legal and the Stakeholders to complete the RTX’ Onetrust process
  • Establish top supplier engagement plans and governance to ensure quality
  • Develop executive level analysis & presentations

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-10 years of Digital Contract Management experience
  • Ability to redline contracts and familiarity with cybersecurity, technology controls, information security, data privacy and protection, and data management
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with subject matter expert teammates, colleagues, and clients
  • Ability to use technology to proactively and creatively track open actions and risks
  • Clear, concise writing
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of change, learning, and innovation
  • Extremely well-organized and attentive to details
  • Good judgment
  • Ability to effectively communicate, execute and manage contracts that meet technical requirements
  • Must possess strong collaboration skills enabling effective communication and demonstrated business results working internally with functional service owners in Enterprise Services and externally with suppliers
  • Must possess strong working skillset with Microsoft Suite of Product including Excel, Word and Teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
  • Has a JD and/or a legal background
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education: 

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelors Degree 8-10 yrs experience
