Central Credit Union of Illinois is seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Digital & Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Department's objectives and organizational growth goals. This role is responsible for expanding and enhancing the credit union's digital presence while providing
administrative and project support to the Marketing team. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating content, appearing on camera, managing social media
platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating marketing initiatives from concept through
execution.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop expertise in the credit union's products, services, brand, and strategic objectives.

 Create compelling, compliant social media content, graphics, photography, and video assets.

 Produce, schedule, and publish content across social media, email, website, and emerging digital channels.

 Execute social media campaigns and maintain the marketing content calendar.

 Monitor social media activity, engage audiences, and strengthen the credit union's online presence.

 Identify and implement opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness.

 Track digital marketing trends and recommend new content and engagement strategies.

 Generate and analyze performance reports using HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media insights.

 Evaluate campaign results and recommend data-driven improvements.

 Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

 Manage the credit union's online profiles, listings, and reputation.

 Respond to online reviews and community feedback in a professional manner.

 Upload, verify, and maintain monthly statement advertising within designated platforms.

 Design and develop marketing materials, including newsletters, flyers, brochures, presentations, and digital communications.

 Organize and maintain digital assets, including photos, graphics, videos, and marketing collateral.

 Support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.

 Coordinate and promote community events, sponsorships, career fairs, and partner activities.

 Represent the credit union at events and community outreach initiatives.

 Monitor and replenish inventories of promotional items, branded materials, and marketing collateral.

 Coordinate vendor communications and assist with project tracking and order management.

 Complete mailing, shipping, filing, and other administrative tasks to support departmental operations.

 Perform occasional local errands related to marketing initiatives and events.

 Provide administrative and project support to ensure the efficient operation of the Marketing Department.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
 1 to 2 years of experience creating and managing social media content and campaigns.
 Demonstrated success developing content for major social media platforms.
 Strong photography, video production, and video editing skills.
 Ability to create both long-form educational content and short-form social media content.
 Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
 Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities.
 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 Ability to work independently while collaborating e􀆯ectively with cross-functional teams.
 Sound judgment, professionalism, and decision-making skills.
 Confidence and willingness to appear on camera for videos, social media content, and promotional campaigns.
 Portfolio showcasing social media, content creation, or digital marketing work.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
 Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
 Experience with HubSpot, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.
 Experience in financial services, banking, or credit unions.
 Bilingual in English and Spanish.
