Job Description:
The Digital Shelf Manager plays a critical role in bringing the iconic Mars Wrigley portfolio to life online across our ecommerce retailer websites and will be responsible for shaping how shoppers learn and engage with our brands online. The associate will focus on winning the algorithm through optimizing content for search based on defined keywords, and driving progress in Perfect Digital Store (PDS). The Digital Merchandiser will also oversee publishing best-in-class content across retailers such as Amazon, Target, Kroger, Meijer, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart.com and many more

What will be your key responsibilities?
- Drive Perfect Digital Store (PDS) improvements across retailers’ pages, focused on perfect page (content & ratings and reviews) and perfect position (winning the search algorithm) using tools such as eFundamentals, Nielsen, and Power BI.
- Develop strategies to win the customer algorithm and syndicate SEO optimized content by coordinating with brands (everyday & seasonal), customer teams and agencies
- Responsible for item setup & content management (Salsify, CXH, Label Insights, etc) & content syndication (basic content, above the fold, below the fold, video, etc) across customers.
- Partner internal creative agency (Studio) & team lead to develop & upload content for new products, seasonal rotations, micro-moments, transitioning items, and discontinued products to ensure products are live and updated on retailers’ websites at the respective launch /discontinuation dates.
- Define and implement test & learns across sub-set of online retailers to inform strategies and actions
- Bring forward insights for MWC by analyzing competitors’ content, search & merchandising strategy around key criteria: content quality, integrity, ratings, and reviews & search.
- Act as a strategic thought leader during key customer meetings (including JPBs), delivering insights, trends, and digital growth opportunities.
- Lead digital education efforts for both internal teams and external retail customers, helping to elevate digital maturity and understanding of digital capabilities & omnichannel tools.
- Optimize and make recommendations around keyword development & optimization and maintain an active awareness on industry trends as well as search best practices.
- Lead special projects like Mobile Images, Content Playbooks, Ratings & Reviews, Salsify, Syndigo, etc - driving digital muscle with brand teams

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
