Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Digital SAP Manager - OTC (Order-to-Cash) to join our team. The Digital SAP Manager - OTC will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions as part of our Digital Transformation journey.   This role will be responsible for aligning SAP capabilities with business goals in order management, pricing, shipping, and customer service, while collaborating closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams.  The manager will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions aligned with enterprise digital strategy. Location: Plymouth, MN – Hybrid or Remote

What you will do: 

SAP S&D Leadership:

  • Lead the SAP Sales and Distribution module strategy, configuration, and support across global manufacturing sites
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as MM, PP, FI/CO, and CRM
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in order-to-cash (OTC) processes

Project & Change Management:

  • Manage SAP-related projects including rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions
  • Oversee change management, training, and adoption across business units

Operational Excellence:

  • Optimize sales order processing, pricing strategies, delivery scheduling, and billing processes
  • Support EDI integrations with customers and logistics partners
  • Ensure system reliability and performance for high-volume transaction environments

Team & Vendor Management:

  • Lead a team of SAP analysts and developers; manage external consultants and vendors
  • Provide mentorship and career development for team members

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure SAP Sales & Distribution processes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and industry regulations
  • Maintain documentation and support internal/external audits

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP OTC Modules (MM, PP, FI/CO, and CRM)
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP OTC Modules (MM, PP, FI/CO, and CRM)
  • SAP Certification
  • Knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution modules
  • Experience working in multi plant, multi country SAP landscapes
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

 Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 (+ 15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
