Job Description

Are you ready to be part of something transformative? In 2025, Visa launched a brand new Digital Sales hub in Madrid, and we are looking for strategic, creative, and driven individuals to join us. Digital Sales is at the forefront of Visa’s sales organization, playing a pivotal role in building stronger relationships with our clients and scaling our business. Our Digital Sales teams utilize best-in-class sales technology and data analytics to craft tailored solutions for clients and unlock new opportunities.

Build, own and manage relationships with a large territory of longtail accounts as a full sales cycle seller. Drive sales/upsell/cross-sell in a comprehensive selling motion, across all Visa products and solutions, which includes virtual engagement and system touchpoints. 

What we expect of you, day to day. 

  • Drive sales growth within your client portfolio by understanding and integrating their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. 
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand Visa’s customer base in Portugal and other European markets. 
  •  Manage existing customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, maintain account plans, create presentation materials that are applicable to all levels of the client organization.  
  • Forecast sales and have knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring sales tools are utilized appropriately and maintained regularly.  
  • Participate in client communications, and develop and deliver client presentations using phone, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and webcasts.    
  • Maintain industry trend knowledge and government regulations that may affect assigned territory.   
  • Collaborate with digital sales team to develop new business strategies and tactics. Participate in ongoing digital sales trainings.  
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs 
  • Effectively communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 1-2 years of sales or relevant experience
  • Experience in payments industry is highly valuable
  • Fluent in English. Strong proficiency (at least C1) in Portuguese
  • Basic understanding of digital sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics. 
  • Work independently and engage multiple levels of management in key decisions where required for the business
  • Strong ability to communicate basic concepts and exchange ideas and account information clearly and concisely.
  • Manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
