Job title: Digital R&D Business Analyst – Consumers

Purpose and Context of the role
Our R&D vision is to Innovate Boldly for People and Planet, underpinning our purpose and sustainability goals and driving profitable growth through our Business Groups & Business Units. In order to achieve this vision, the RDLT has identified the Digital Transformation as a strategic enabler in our ambition to drive People and Planet Positive, Force for Good and Clean Future. A multi-year program leading up to the desired digitally transformed end-state of R&D has been created. This vacancy sits inside within the Digital & Partnership R&D Team, is aligned with the divisional priorities and provides direction to our investments and technology roadmaps: E2E Digitalised Innovation Flow (Fully digitised and highly automated innovation workflows, re-wiring the way R&D works, enabling seamless data flow and integrating with systems in other functions, such as Marketing and Supply Chain). Widespread use of virtual simulations for consumer insights, formulation, packaging and process innovation are also part of this workstream.
This role is primarily focused on managing tools like Veeva and PIT within Product Information for Consumers Programme. The workstream provides product data and tools to drive end-to end digitalisation, delivering product information to consumers both on-pack and online. We aim to bring in digital first efficiencies and insights for our process and data management. Further this workstream will require building connected data and tools to drive data quality, uniqueness and superiority on Product Information for Consumers.
To that end, the successful candidate will:
Collaborate with category and functional teams to determine their requirements.
Thoroughly document user requirements to ensure effective communication with technical development teams. This includes creating user journeys, conceptualizing user experiences, designing digital systems, business processes, and shaping programs to achieve user satisfaction and adoption.
Recommend feasible technical solutions that align with business objectives and goals.
Manage the deployments and maintain communication with both the project team/technical development team throughout the project's duration. o Identify potential opportunities for enhancing digital solutions within the program and record these opportunities in the required format.
Assist users during UAT and Go-Live through knowledge transfer and training initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact within a given functional area, providing internal coaching and consultancy services.
Contribute to the standardization, optimization, and improvement of business processes.
Facilitate learning sessions and support change management activities, including the development and delivery of demonstrations.
This role reports to the Process Owner Product Information for Consumers, in the Digital & Partnerships organisation, with the main responsibility to deliver the holistic E2E digitalisation program for the R&D.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Digital tools/systems
Previous experience of working in a business analysis
Project Management knowledge will be added advantage (but not essential)
