The Digital Project Manager within the PMO team works closely with the Online Experience team, Samsung HQ, E-Commerce platform partners, internal support teams, and third-party vendors to deliver initiatives aligned to the Samsung Online Experience strategy.
Reporting to the PMO Manager, this role partners with Business Analysts, technical teams, and support functions to deliver roadmap-prioritised projects across multiple workstreams. The role requires the ability to rapidly onboard to in-flight initiatives, as well as lead projects end-to-end from initiation through to delivery, including AI-enabled and data-driven solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Own and manage key digital projects from planning through delivery, transition to BAU, and post-implementation review.

  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to define, document, and manage project scope, deliverables, and dependencies on behalf of the PMO.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and status reporting.

  • Identify key project stakeholders and build strong working relationships across the Online Experience team and wider business.

  • Maintain full understanding and control of project status, requirements, timelines, budgets, and risks.

  • Identify risks early and define mitigation and contingency plans, tracking issues through to resolution.

  • Manage project teams across multiple geographies, vendors, and internal functions.

  • Prepare presentations and progress updates for senior stakeholders and governance forums.

  • Ensure project activities meet corporate standards, governance requirements, and PMO best practices.

  • Collaborate with PMO peers to continuously improve delivery methodologies, templates, and documentation.

AI & Technical Enablement Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of AI-enabled and automation initiatives across Digital and E-Commerce platforms.

  • Partner with Business Analysts and technical teams to:

    • Translate AI use cases into clear delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies

    • Define data, integration, and platform readiness requirements

  • Coordinate technical setup activities for AI solutions, including environments, integrations, and vendor dependencies.

  • Manage delivery across data engineers, developers, AI vendors, system integrators, and platform partners.

  • Ensure AI initiatives align with:

    • Business objectives and value metrics

    • Data privacy, security, and governance standards

    • Ethical and responsible AI principles

  • Track AI-specific risks including data quality, model performance, integration complexity, and operational readiness.

  • Support evaluation, onboarding, and delivery of AI tools, platforms, and third-party solutions.

  • Ensure AI solutions are production-ready, supportable, and integrated into BAU processes.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven Project Management experience in a Digital or E-Commerce environment.

  • Strong delivery experience across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery models and the full software development lifecycle.

  • Experience managing projects involving complex system integrations and third-party vendors.

  • High level of business intelligence with strong planning, organisation, and delivery skills.

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Desirable / Added Value

  • Experience delivering AI, automation, analytics, or data-driven initiatives.

  • Understanding of data platforms, APIs, cloud services, and AI solution delivery.

  • Experience with Hybris, E-Commerce platforms, and global digital ecosystems.

  • Exposure to SAP or enterprise ERP environments.

  • Experience working with global HQ teams and offshore delivery partners.
