The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) is a robust project solutions support team with the goals of implementing the Digital standardized project management methodology across all departments to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in project delivery, with a focus on proactive risk management and optimal resource allocation to align projects with strategic business goals. This remote team consists of US and India-based team members, and our team is eager to grow our talented team in India.
The purpose of the India-based PMO team is to support Huron’s Digital (India and US) businesses with standardized project management and ensure consistent quality of project delivery.
The Project Manager at a Consulting Manager level will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and closing of various projects within the organization. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirement
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure adherence to project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Apply PMP concepts throughout project execution and conduct post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and implement organizational quality assurance processes and oversee project compliance audits.
- Mentor and manage project teams, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and providing coaching and feedback.
- Understand business requirements, define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and work with delivery teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Experience with Project Management, Agile, Risk Management, and implementing systems like SF or WD in a PM role.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with experience handling PMO activities and reporting requirements.
Preferences
- Proficient in project management methodologies, including Agile, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and generating insightful reports from data.
- Knowledgeable in project financials, schedules, scope, risk, and delivery management.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet) and systems like Salesforce or Workday (HCM/Financials).
- 8+ years in IT consulting and services, with 5-6 years in project management.
- BE/BTech/MBA in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, with certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM preferred.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MS in Project Management) are a plus.
