Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications, instructions, and other requirements to ensure successful management of projects
- Review 2D plans and 3D models prepared by the Virtual Design and Construction Team to help ensure integrity of the model geometry, constructability and data based on the design documentation
- Coordinate with the Virtual Design and Construction team to ensure elements of design are in accordance with the plans, specifications, and client requirements
- Generate clash detection reports to ensure the model is free of constructability issues and clashes
- Provide detailed checklists, overlays of all drawings and filed experienced staff to catch potentially costly errors before physical construction starts
- Review and perform Quantity take-offs in all trades (Civil, Landscape, Structural, Architectural and MEPF) if necessary.
- Perform various Quality Checks on the Models to validate models for aspects like model completeness
- Conduct model sanity – checking duplication of data, errors and omissions, continuity of systems between the different points of connection
- Learn and utilize industry leading software such as Bluebeam, BIM360, Precogs, Synchro, Navisworks, Ideate to audit construction models from the Virtual Design and Construction team
- Assess digital process compliance of the Virtual Design and Construction team based on process playbooks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any engineering-related course
- Must have basic plan reading knowledge (MEPF, Landscape, Structural, Architectural, and Civil)
- Experience with digital tools such as Revit, Bluebeam and Navisworks is an added advantage
- Willing to work in Makati
