The Digital Program Manager manages and executes digital marketing, social media, influencer, and shopper marketing programs for agency clients. This role develops content strategies, leads influencer and creator initiatives, researches emerging retail marketing trends, and identifies innovative ways to bring content to life through Sam's Club activations and other shopper marketing experiences. The position is responsible for content development, user-generated content (UGC) programs, campaign measurement, analytics reporting, and client-facing communication and presentations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of this Position

  • Develops quality content & graphic campaigns & disseminates it through in-store channels, including digital screens, for client programs
  • Acts as client liaison for various content approvals, responses, and new initiatives
  • Creates monthly recaps of performance for client programs, As well as final program recaps of the same programs
  • Monitors competitor activity for clients & agency to keep up with latest trends for content performance
  • Management and ownership of program critical paths, weekly meeting agendas and contact reports
  • Develops and manages influencer marketing programs for retail clients, including influencer identification, recruitment, contract coordination, content approvals, campaign execution, and performance measurement.
  • Conducts ongoing research into retail marketing trends, shopper engagement tactics, content innovation, and creator-led experiences to identify opportunities that enhance activations and client programs.
  • Develops user-generated content (UGC) strategies and manages content creation opportunities that deliver authentic brand storytelling across social, digital, and shopper marketing channels.
  • Develops creative concepts that integrate influencers, creators, digital content, and shopper engagement into Sam's Club activations, identifying opportunities to enhance demonstrations, roadshows, product launches, and experiential events through innovative content and creator partnerships.

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, PR, or related fields preferred.
  • Three years of relevant work experience  
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Researches and recommends innovative ways to bring digital content into physical retail environments.
  • Proven ability to adhere to brand-specific voice and transitions between multiple clients efficiently  
  • Proven technical understanding of popular and new social platforms, and the online services & tools needed to monitor, schedule, and measure social media performance  
  • Creative and design-minded individual with experience creating compelling, on-brand graphics and copy  
  • Extensive analytics and reporting knowledge to deliver timely analytics to clients and agency  
  • Ability to interact with clients and suppliers in a professional and prepared manner  
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks  
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to keep abreast of emerging digital marketing platforms (mobile, digital signage, innovative digital solutions, social media, apps, etc.)

  • Assists with the setup and operation of digital screen equipment for in-office demonstrations, client presentations, and off-site activations, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for clients, shoppers, and stakeholders.

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Sit for extended periods (typically 6+ hours per day).
  • Use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods.
  • Lift and carry light items (e.g., files, office supplies, laptops, typically 20+ pounds).
