BCBST is hiring a Digital Product Manager for our Digital Transformation Team

We're looking for
A strategic and customer-focused product leader who is passionate about creating digital solutions that make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can translate business needs into clear product strategies and actionable roadmaps. You are skilled at influencing stakeholders, building consensus, and driving initiatives from concept through delivery.

Strong candidates will also bring one or more of the following:

  • Healthcare payer/payor experience
  • Experience leading customer-facing digital products
  • Experience supporting products across multiple lines of business
  • Experience working with executive leaders and presenting product strategy and outcomes
  • Background developing product roadmaps, business cases, and digital strategies

In this role, you'll
Lead the development and execution of digital product strategies that enhance the experience of our members, customers, and business partners. You will identify opportunities for innovation, build compelling business cases, define product requirements, and partner closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-value solutions. You'll balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical capabilities to guide products that drive measurable results.

Note:

  • This is a remote role with occasional travel within Tennessee, including BCBST's headquarters in Chattanooga.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Leading agile teams in the ongoing management and advancement or digital products, channels, and programs
  • Developing innovative, industry-leading solutions that uniquely serve BlueCross and its customers 
  • Leading digital initiatives and cross-functional teams by driving strategy, tactics, and delivery timelines
  • Identifying, researching and scoping key business opportunities in support of the future-state vision for digital solutions across products, programs, and campaigns
  • Building strong partnerships across teams in delivering excellent service 
  • Working with key stakeholders throughout the organization to establish priorities, gain buy-in, and align resources appropriately

Job Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment 

Experience 

  • 6 years - Experience managing consumer tools/technology, or equivalent experience required. 
  • 3 years - Experience in a leadership/management role required 
  • 1 year - Project management, account management or similar experience required 

Skills\Certifications 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing  responsibility, roles and accountability. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office M365 (Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and SharePoint
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
