PPG is looking for a Digital Product Manager – Salesforce Sales Cloud to drive the strategy, implementation, and continuous evolution of our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform across multiple business units worldwide. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of Sales Cloud by ensuring strong adoption, scalable architecture, and alignment with global commercial processes. You will also lead both ongoing enterprise rollout initiatives and continuous product improvement for existing business units.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and an external systems integrator to deliver a standardized yet flexible global solution that supports commercial teams in managing their sales pipeline and customer relationships effectively. This position sits within the Global CRM Product Team, alongside the product leads for Service Cloud and Marketing/Data Cloud and reports to the Group Product Manager CRM.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership
  • Drive product decisions based on business impact, user needs and platform best practices.

  • Define and own the Sales Cloud product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with global commercial strategy and customer engagement goals.

  • Continuously evaluate platform capabilities to identify opportunities for process optimization, scalability, and business value creation.

  • Monitor Salesforce releases and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Continuous Product Improvement (Existing Business Units)
  • Own the product backlog and prioritization for Sales Cloud enhancements across multiple business units.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, field impact, cross-business alignment, and technical feasibility.

  • Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and dependencies.

  • Ensure stories are ready for development, including clarity on data models, integrations, and business processes.

  • Support development teams by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionality.

  • Facilitate regular business touchpoints and backlog reviews to maintain transparency and alignment.

  • Ensure all developments adhere to global governance standards and the Salesforce global template.

  • Partner with the change management team to support training, documentation, and user adoption of new features.

  • Communicate product updates and demonstrate delivered value through feature releases and business success stories.

Enterprise Salesforce Implementation
  • Support the ongoing rollout of Salesforce Sales Cloud to additional business units.

  • Work closely with the external systems integrator to ensure consistent and scalable implementation.

  • Ensure governance and global standards are maintained while minimizing disruption to live business units.

  • Identify reusable solutions and best practices that can be scaled across business units.

  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on cross-business changes impacting existing deployments.

  • Collaborate with other Salesforce product teams (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud) to manage cross-cloud dependencies.

Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Sales Cloud across global regions and business units.

  • Partner with commercial leaders to standardize sales processes and minimize unnecessary customizations.

  • Lead prioritization discussions with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with global product strategy.

  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Support adoption initiatives and ensure business teams understand the value and impact of new capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner responsible for Salesforce Sales Cloud in an enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce implementations or large-scale platform rollouts.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and commercial performance metrics.

  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with business, IT, and external implementation partners.

  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple business units.

Technical & Methodology Skills
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Sales Cloud Consultant.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, integrations, and data models.

  • Experience working within Agile (SAFe or Scrum) delivery frameworks.

  • Ability to engage in technical discussions with integration teams, ERP teams, and architects.
