Senior UX Designer – Strategy & PrototypingRole

We are seeking a strategy-oriented UX & Visual designer to partner with a global pharmaceutical company at the forefront of innovation. The organization’s innovation incubator drives transformational change by creating and developing cutting-edge solutions that redefine healthcare from every angle – production, branding, communications, technology, etc. We are looking for a talented and experienced UX & Visual Designer with an emphasis on strategy and prototyping for digital design to join a pod of creative professionals in shaping the future of pharma.

As a Senior UX Designer for the incubator, will focus on developing conceptual frameworks, defining user flows, and crafting interaction models that align with both business goals and user needs. They will play a pivotal role in bridging strategic thinking with actionable UX, ensuring that product visions translate into intuitive and effective digital experiences. Experience in experimental interaction design or coding for prototyping is a plus.
Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive, animated interfaces that bring a sense of movement and engagement to digital experiences.
  • Leverage animation libraries (such as GreenSock, Three.js, or CSS animations) to create smooth, impactful transitions and micro-interactions.
  • Develop conceptual UX frameworks that align with product strategy and business objectives.
  • Craft user flows and interaction models that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Define and document interaction logic, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate strategy into tangible UX solutions.
  • Work closely with researchers to incorporate user insights into design decisions.
  • Advocate for best-in-class UX practices that improve product adoption and usability.
  • Explore and prototype experimental interaction design concepts.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of UX design experience with a strong emphasis on strategy and interaction design.
  • Expertise in user flows, conceptual frameworks, and interaction models.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, usability heuristics, and design thinking.
  • Experience aligning UX decisions with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to advocate for UX strategy in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with animation libraries or frameworks (e.g., GreenSock, Three.js) preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate static designs from tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD into dynamic prototypes.
  • Experience in creating prototypes that convey movement, interaction, and flow, allowing stakeholders to experience design concepts more fully.
  • A portfolio showcasing digital products with strong animation, interaction, and visual execution.

Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.

$92$97 USD
