Job Summary:

The Digital Product Content Manager orchestrates and delivers a cohesive experience for users (e.g. members, providers, etc.) within, and across, digital assets (e.g. Member Portal, Provider Portal). Responsibilities include identifying target audiences, preferences, and content that resonates; planning and producing high-quality content, defining content workflows and operations; optimizing content for delivery and search engine; and measuring for effectiveness to meet business goals and product objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and manage content strategy, planning, development, and publishing process within digital assets
  • Abide by and work within required communication approval processes defined by partner (e.g. Marketing) teams
  • Lead and partner with UX in user research to gather insights that inform content decisions
  • Lead orchestration and development for specific high target archetypes, personas, and journeys including goal definition, stakeholder management, audience assessment, search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, call to action (CTA), and asset development
  • Ensure consistent branding, voice, tone and presentation across multi-channel distribution
  • Optimize content impact through analytics tracking (traffic, engagement, actions), assessment of performance to target goals, and continuously iterate and improve
  • Provide editorial oversight working with vendors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and collaborating teams to produce content; generating when necessary
  • Stay abreast of latest developments in SEO, content trends, and target audience behavior
  • Maintain a calendar of product, market, and/or segment launch dates and ensure delivering on project deadlines
  • Adapt content based on platform and audience, implementing to new content channels ensuring it meets needs of various personas; oversee implementation of new content channels
  • Maintain strong understanding of business goals and product objectives
  • Influence customizations of content management system to ensure content reuse, content modality, metadata, automated content assembly, and structured writing guidelines
  • Leverage emerging technology in content creation and orchestration
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of digital content creation and strategy experience is required
  • Experience in content implementation across multiple platforms and mediums/channels is required
  • Experience writing health care-related content with a deep understanding of subject lines, call to action (CTAs) and writing styles that drive engagement and behavior change is preferred

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$69,400.00 - $111,000.00
