SUMMARY

The Digital Product Content Coordinator is responsible for collecting, organizing, standardizing, and publishing technical product content across PEI-Genesis' digital channels. This position works closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, IT, and manufacturing partners to prepare technical product information—including specifications, attributes, drawings, CAD files, images, datasheets, and other collateral—for publication on the PEI-Genesis website and distribution to external partners.

This position supports PEI-Genesis' digital commerce strategy by transforming technical product information into customer-focused digital content that improves product discoverability, enables informed purchasing decisions, and drives online engagement and conversions. By ensuring product information is accurate, complete, and presented in a consistent, user-friendly format, the Digital Product Content Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the online customer experience and supporting business growth.

This is a temporary, full-time position with an expected minimum duration of six (6) months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • 1+ years of experience working with product data, digital content, eCommerce, product information management, or similar functions.
  • Experience managing and organizing large volumes of technical or product-related information.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, industrial distribution, electronics, or engineering environments.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM), ERP, Content Management Systems (CMS), or eCommerce platforms.

 

TECHNICAL AND MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including:
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Pivot Tables
    • Sorting and filtering large datasets
    • Conditional formatting
    • Text functions
    • Data validation
    • Basic data cleansing and manipulation
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical product documentation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
  • Experience working with digital assets, product images, and technical documentation preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and digital merchandising is a plus.

 

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect product specifications, technical attributes, drawings, CAD files, images, datasheets, and other product collateral from manufacturers and internal stakeholders.
  • Organize, cleanse, standardize, and format product data according to PEI-Genesis content standards.
  • Upload and maintain product information and digital assets within internal systems and the PEI-Genesis website.
  • Prepare and distribute standardized product content for strategic partners and third-party platforms.
  • Verify product data accuracy and completeness prior to publication.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and IT to support new product launches and ongoing catalog maintenance.
  • Maintain digital asset libraries using consistent naming conventions and organizational standards.
  • Identify missing product content and proactively work with internal teams and suppliers to obtain required information.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure content consistency and accuracy across all digital channels.
  • Support initiatives that improve product discoverability, website usability, and the digital customer experience.
  • Assist with special digital content and website projects as assigned.
