Mission
The main mission for the Digital Procurement Project Manager is to align business processes to create a more efficient and effective operational approach throughout the Procurement organisation. This involves simplifying, standardising, and enhancing key business processes to be innovative and efficient, supported by smart systems such as SAP S/4 HANA (ERP), Teamcenter (PLM), and Microsoft Office 365/Power Platform.
What you'll do
As the Business Process Expert in the BDR Thermea Group Procurement team, you represent a global strategic harmonization project and you will be responsible for the processes specific to Source to Pay. It is your responsibility to provide subject matter expertise, advice and guidance on improvement opportunities and best practice. Beside your own stream you need to understand the cross functional and integrated processes.
You will be responsible for two main areas:
S4HANA Rollout
In this project you will be responsible for implementing the standard processes across BDR Thermea for the workstream as Product Owner “Source to Pay”. You will be required to fulfill the Business Process Review phase as a subject matter expert delivering a gap analyses, supporting benefit realization plans, and advising on design decisions and their impacts. You will be supporting throughout the rollout and be the main driver behind the change in way of working for the entities.
Continuous improvement
You will be responsible for bringing procurement to a higher level by developing an improvement roadmap linked with BDR Thermea's strategy, creating business cases, requesting budget and delivering these improvements across BDR Thermea. You will get your requirements bottom up via a community of key users and business as usual requests, or top down via the Group Procurement Director.
You'll be directly reporting to the Global Procurement Manager Commercial & DAC.
About you
The ideal candidate should have strong operational experience and a high-level understanding of the Procurement workstream, including its integration points and architectural dependencies. They should demonstrate adaptability, critical thinking, and a willingness to explore and deep dive into complex topics to find innovative solutions. The candidate must excel at driving change, fostering a positive attitude towards it, and managing multiple priorities under pressure, both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Furthermore:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 7 years of experience implementing SAP ECC6 or S/4 module and Group Reporting tools.
- Previous experience in both Agile and Waterfall Project Management;
- Familiar with Teamcenter/ SAP S/4 HANA/ and PowerBI;
- Good in working with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint/Outlook/OneNote;
- Preferred previous experience in supporting systems such as qTest and DevOps;
- Good communicator in English both oral and written;
