Part of the trusted NRMA Group, a member-owned brand, our passionate team works together to make holiday magic happen—it's not just our job, it's in our nature.

Job Description

  • Based at our stunning beachfront office in Coolangatta, you can watch the whales pass by from your desk, or feel the sand between your toes during your lunch time walk
  • We know life isn't just about work. That's why this is a hybrid role - to help you find the right balance

Search isn't just about rankings. It's about results.

We're looking for a commercially minded Digital Performance Manager - Search on a 12-month Maternity Leave Contract, to lead the performance, strategy and future direction of search across NRMA Parks & Resorts.

This isn't a hands-on SEO specialist role and you won't be spending all day in Google Ads campaigns or tweaking meta descriptions. It's an opportunity for someone who understands how search drives business growth and can turn data, insights and opportunities into clear action.

Working alongside specialist agency partners, you'll own the search roadmap across SEO, SEM and emerging AI-powered search experiences, helping more travellers discover, consider and book unforgettable holidays across our portfolio of holiday parks and resorts.

You'll be the person asking the important questions:

  • Why is performance changing?
  • Where are the biggest growth opportunities?
  • Are we investing in the right places?
  • What should we do next?

If you love connecting customer behaviour, digital performance and commercial outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

  • Own the search strategy across SEO, SEM, local search and emerging AI-led discovery channels.
  • Drive performance outcomes that increase visibility, bookings, revenue and return on marketing investment.
  • Analyse search performance to understand what's driving changes in traffic, conversions and customer behaviour, then translate those insights into clear recommendations for the business.
  • Partner with specialist SEO and SEM agencies, setting direction, challenging recommendations and ensuring activity aligns with broader commercial objectives.
  • Lead the development of a clear search roadmap focused on capturing customer demand across our destinations, properties and accommodation offerings.
  • Work closely with Digital, Marketing, Revenue and Web Experience teams to identify opportunities to improve website performance, conversion and customer experience.
  • Guide and mentor our Content Coordinator, using search insights and customer behaviour to shape content priorities and opportunities.
  • Help the business stay ahead of the curve by identifying opportunities across AI search, automation and emerging discovery platforms.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong experience across digital performance, search marketing, SEO, SEM or growth marketing.
  • The ability to interpret data, identify trends and confidently recommend what the business should do next.
  • Experience leading search strategy and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
  • A solid understanding of SEO, SEM, website performance, customer acquisition and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience managing agencies, external partners or specialist digital suppliers.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect search activity to bookings, revenue, ROAS, CPA and overall business performance.
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and presenting recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity about emerging trends, particularly AI-powered search, automation and the future of digital discovery.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching or guiding team members to achieve great outcomes.
