Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Digital Payment Expert to join our Payments Delivery Area Team of Core Banking and Clients Tribe Spain

The responsibility of this team is to provide the best solution for Payments considering customer needs, market behaviors, regulations, and user requirements, delivering high quality developments based on Agile Methodology. Making things happen, helping others be successful, always being one step ahead—that’s our DNA.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Digital Payment Expert you will:

As a key member of a squad, you will provide a broad knowledge on ING products, services, channels, and local Payments Regulations.

You are part of the delivery team to define functional requirements, participation in testing and support before the Go-live.

You control the process of the Clearing systems, solve the incidents in case of errors, provide the information and help to the support teams or the providers.

You identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations. You represent the voice of the customer (External and internal) improving the processes.

You analyze data to extract operational information for decision taken, create reports for Operations areas (MicroStrategy, Excel, Power Point, etc..). Analysis of evolutions, trends and volumes seeking improvements that increase customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.

You collaborate / day-to-day teamwork with suppliers. Detect incidents in the processes of external providers, report incidents and track them. Track processes with suppliers, propose improvement measures and measurements that establish the effectiveness of the actions implemented.

You are responsible for improving the service with an end-to-end mindset, for the day-to-day performance, for building reliable business operations and services, and for connecting it with internal or external parties.

You work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders, to make sure our products and services comply with regulation and policies.

  • Master or bachelor’s degree between 5/9 years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Customer focused and results-oriented person.
  • Strong effective presentations skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong English is a must have.
  • Remote Collaboration: be adept at collaborating with team members in different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
  • Payment processing: Understanding of the end-to-end payment processing cycle, including authorization, clearing, and settlement. Have proven experience in Operations.
  • Cross-Cultural Sensitivity & Empathy: Being aware of cultural differences within the offshore team fosters a positive and harmonious work environment.
  • Adaptability: be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and time zone differences.
  • Prioritization: Strong prioritization skills and ensure the team focuses on delivering high-impact results.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in an offshore setup and implementing measures to mitigate them ensures smoother project execution.
  • Deadlines Management: Efficiently managing time and deadlines to keep the development on track and deliver the product within scheduled timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engaging and managing stakeholders effectively for successful project outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills enable to address challenges and obstacles that may arise
  • Tech: Although not mandatory, some technical knowledge to facilitate effective communication and understanding between the Product Owner and the development team.

Buscamos a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para unirse al equipo de Payments Delivery Area dentro del Tribu de Core Banking y Clientes en ING España.

Este equipo tiene la responsabilidad de ofrecer las mejores soluciones de pagos, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de las personas usuarias, el comportamiento del mercado, la normativa vigente y los requisitos funcionales, entregando desarrollos de alta calidad basados en metodologías ágiles. Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Experto/a en Pagos Digitales, serás responsable de:

  • Aportar un conocimiento amplio sobre productos, servicios, canales de ING y normativa local de pagos.
  • Participar en la definición de requisitos funcionales, pruebas y soporte previo al lanzamiento.
  • Controlar los procesos de sistemas de compensación, resolver incidencias, y apoyar a los equipos de soporte o proveedores.
  • Identificar productos o servicios que mejor se adapten a las necesidades expresadas por las personas usuarias, proponiendo configuraciones adecuadas.
  • Analizar datos para extraer información operativa, crear informes para áreas de operaciones (MicroStrategy, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), y proponer mejoras que aumenten la satisfacción y eficiencia.
  • Colaborar con proveedores externos, detectar y hacer seguimiento de incidencias, y proponer medidas de mejora.
  • Mejorar el servicio con una mentalidad de extremo a extremo, asegurando operaciones confiables y conectadas con partes internas y externas.
  • Trabajar con equipos de Riesgos, Cumplimiento y Legal para garantizar que nuestros productos y servicios cumplan con la normativa.
