Job Description:

Job Purpose
Drive & support seamless performance of the EAST Credit organization, through identification and implementation of automation and digital solutions, facilitate projects, as well as providing relevant coordination for high-risk circumstances in volatile business environment (credit crisis). Partner with internal (Data & Digital Teams, Business IT) and external stakeholders (IT solutions suppliers) to co-create solutions aiming to maximize process automation, ensure availability of appropriate portfolio analytics tools & enabling seamless Credit Strategy Delivery. Facilitate an oversee delivery of relevant (IPP- and non-IPP driven) projects.
Drive people upskilling and future skilling of Credit EAST community members, driving preparation for FO 4.0 end-state for agreed priority capabilities based on FO4.0 Phased Milestones.
Apply structured problem-solving approach and project management methodology to respond to regional/global issues and opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities
The list below is intended to provide a brief glimpse of the day-to-day activities and also highlight the key areas of proficiency (strong business understanding, ability to navigate systems, managing stakeholder relationships and key technical skills) that would help the succeed in the role.

  • Support the Risk & Digital Solutions Manager to all key stakeholders within DS East, P&T, Upstream and Global DS Credit organization.

  • Responsible for formulating advanced Credit Risk Management Solutions through available market standard/credit risk offers, Digitalization & Automation Agenda for the region, underpinned by agreed DS Credit Integrated Process Plan (IPP). Alignment with credit & finance managers on Credit Strategies (delivery) via providing transparency on portfolio performance, optimizing cost-to-serve through automation & digitalization.

  • As a Data & Digital FP, closely collaborate with other regional Risk & Digital Solutions Managers, as well as relevant COB Risk Managers in providing timely & accurate portfolio insights aimed to determine appropriate credit risk strategies for the business.

  • Support ensuring availability relevant MI for the business to drive data-driven decision making.

  • Responsible for progressing FO 4.0 delivery & overall upskilling programs for regions supported.

  • Responsibility for managing digital solutions delivery supporting DS Credit East, P&T and Global DS credit where assigned as part of Digital Task Force pool.

  • Responsible for overseeing delivery of Compliance/Controls, Continuous Improvement, Data & Digital & Business Project Agenda when assigned.

  • Deliver a range of digitalization agenda through relevant Credit IPP, as well as external market information, including delivery of off-the-shelf solutions for all Credit Processes (Assessment, Debt Collection & Recovery, Cash Application) in collaboration with Process Excellence to ensure alignment to Global ERP & LCA strategy.


Besides core activities above, deliverables can include:

  • Manage issues that have been escalated relating to DIY digital product deliveries where the initial allocated resolution owner is unable to provide a resolution.

  • Upskill Digital Taskforce by design & deploying relevant digital curiculum in-line with FO4.0 capability needs/deploy readily available learning program as designed by FO4.0 Capability Workstream.

  • Support Risk & Digital Manager in resourcing of digital analyst/specialist roles where applicable and manage resource workload distribution.

Capabilities & Skills:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or any related Finance/Business course-with minimum 3 years of related work experience

  • Professional Experience - Experience preferred in credit or in customer facing processes

  • The role requires a strong team player with the ability to work under tight time pressure whilst still maintaining high standards of work.

  • The role as well requires a self-starter to drive the delivery of the solution and highly curious to pursue mastery of specific technology stacks within the Credit Data and digital pool.

  • Strong communication, presentation. and facilitation skills to deliver, monitor and support capability building programmes

  • Knowledge/Skill and or ability to quickly come up to speed with a strong understanding of the digital data foundations

  • Knowledge/Skill and or ability to quickly come up to speed with digital technologies such as Alteryx, SQL, Process Runner, etc.

  • Ability to articulate and translate technical jargon to non-technical teams.

  • Ability to embed for periods of time and rotate through different parts of the credit operations teams. This includes quickly synthesizing information and understanding the processor portfolio.
