This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

Role Overview

We are looking for a tenacious, data-driven, and highly agile Specialist of Japan Digital Marketing to support our aggressive growth within the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In this dedicated individual contributor role, you will be the scrappy, on-the-ground engine powering our digital programs in Japan. You will take high-level global and APJ strategies and translate them into culturally resonant, high-converting digital campaigns tailored specifically for the Japanese market.

You are a resourceful, AI-first marketer who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and experiment. You know how to leverage marketing technology and generative AI to punch above your weight, accelerating transcreation and campaign deployment. You will serve as the localized digital expert, ensuring our brand speaks authentically to Japanese enterprise buyers while driving measurable pipeline velocity.

What You Will Do
  • Local Digital Execution: Support the rollout and optimization of localized paid media programs—including Search, Social, and Display—ensuring all campaigns are linguistically precise and aligned with Japanese business etiquette.
  • AI-Driven Agility: Leverage generative AI and agentic pipelines to accelerate the localization of ad copy, automate routine content variations, and ensure high-velocity creative testing specific to the Japanese market.
  • Search & Generative Engine Optimization: Collaborate with global and APJ teams to implement region-specific SEO and GEO strategies, maximizing organic visibility across both traditional search engines and AI chatbot platforms in Japan.
  • APJ & Global Alignment: Act as the primary paid media liaison for Japan, working closely with the broader APJ regional marketing team to share data-backed insights, align on regional goals, and adapt global campaigns for local success.
  • Pipeline Tracking & QA: Monitor the lead lifecycle from initial digital inquiry to Sales Development (xDR) handover, implementing rigorous quality assurance (QA) to maintain absolute brand compliance across Japanese touchpoints.
  • Resourceful Problem Solving: Navigate complex localization bottlenecks by managing local vendor relationships and utilizing internal marketing technology stacks to their absolute fullest.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience: 2–5 years of scrappy, hands-on experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or campaign execution, specifically within the Japanese B2B tech landscape.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of Japanese business culture, digital consumption habits, and localized enterprise buying cycles.
  • Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional working proficiency in English to effectively bridge the gap between local sales teams and global marketing hubs.
  • AI & Tech Fluency: An eagerness to adopt AI-first workflows and hands-on experience with modern marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Data-Obsessed Mindset: A strong analytical foundation with the ability to dive into performance metrics, track regional cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and continuously optimize campaign spend.
  • Grit & Tenacity: A highly organized, self-starting nature with the inventive spirit required to scale localized programs efficiently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Key team Player: Always ready to support the broader team for success.
