Role Overview

As a Media Manager with Encoura you will be overseeing all media plans for assigned digital clients. Your goal will be to ensure successful; on-time launch of each campaign in the media plan for our clients. Your success will directly impact Encoura’s ability to empower students and institutions to create meaningful connections so everyone can make the most informed decisions to achieve their goals.

 

This role will work closely with the Digital Sales team and report to the VP of Digital.

  • Schedule kick-off calls with clients and create a slide deck to review their individual media plan, record any notes, create an action plan as to how creative assets and data will be delivered.
  • Write creative briefs, collect/organize visual assets and submit internal creative requests for graphic designers.
  • Work with graphic designers to get creatives back in a timely manner, send to clients for approval, and steward all revisions.
  • Manage pending items for numerous campaigns and following up to inquire with clients or internally.
  • Collaborate closely with Encoura Digital Operations, campaign managers and marketing services to achieve efficient outcomes.
  • Work with clients and digital marketing analyst to ensure proper tracking implementation for desired reporting experience.
  • Manage client expectations as to the timeline to launch a campaign.
  • Traffic all campaigns in a timely manner ensuring that all creatives, data, targeting, landing pages, and tracking are correct.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure campaigns are launched correctly.
  • Once live, the Digital Sales Reps will meet with clients to go over their results and make recommendations. Media managers may be asked to assist the digital sales rep on reporting calls to ensure any changes and optimizations are made to any live campaigns.
  • Manage and troubleshoot creative previews on the reporting dashboard.
  • The Media Manager will be a resource to the sales team for creative strategy ideas and campaign best practices.

A day in the life of a Media Manager:

  • Plan and prepare for new client kick-0ff calls.
  • Meet with sale consultants and campaign managers to discuss client next steps.
  • Request campaign changes from operations.
  • Import campaign details into project management software for trafficking.
  • Work with graphic designers on creatives.
  • Update clients on media plan progress and follow up with action items and communications.

Role Progression:

  • Within 1 month you’ll: Complete media manager onboarding training, meet your team and begin meeting clients you’ll work with, and familiarize yourself with the basics of our processes and technology implementations like Monday.com and Salesforce 
  • Within 3 months you’ll: Be fully trained, be able to lead kick-off and monthly update meetings, and be a contributor to the team’s processes and procedures 
  • Within 6 months you’ll: Be comfortable owning your individual work processes, and begin to recognize opportunities to improve processes and procedures 
  • Within 1 year you’ll: Be an advocate for your clients’ successes, and be a resource for best practices 

About You:

  • Experience in mobile, social, and digital advertising. 
  • Exceptional detail in record keeping and managing projects.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Copywriting and project management software experience (Monday.com) is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • This is a remote role that requires a quiet working space at home where you can work without interruptions for client calls
  • Reliable internet connection (laptop and cell phone will be provided) 
  • Organized, problem solver and multi-tasker personality
