We are looking for a creative and data-minded Digital Marketing Specialist to join our UPM Specialty Materials Marketing, Sustainability & Communications team. You will play a key role in our digital marketing development – crafting compelling content, executing marketing plans, and helping us build a stronger brand across the region. This position is based in Shanghai.

What you will do

• Coordinate the development of digital marketing tools, including our website. You'll be at the heart of shaping our online presence
• Dive into analytics, translating data into insightful reports
• Contribute to website content and crafting engaging customer communications, such as eNewsletters, social media content and video scripts that capture attention
• Execute end-to-end lead generation and nurturing campaigns, using targeted content to move prospects through the funnel
• Support advertising design, to ensure all brand materials comply with brand guidelines and legal requirements
• Support dynamic digital marketing projects, from innovative campaigns to efficient marketing automation
• Tackle a range of marketing (e.g. event coordination), communications and supporting tasks

Who you are

• You have bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• You have solid hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation, ideally in a B2B or complex commercial environment (typically 3+ years)
• You are comfortable producing a variety of content formats (whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, video, etc.) and skilled in SEO, CRM, lead generation & nurturing, data analytics, and marketing automation platforms
• You can use data to assess performance, track ROI, and make practical recommendations to improve campaigns
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• You will have an advantage if you have experience in brand implementation, advertising/packaging design coordination, or trademark processes
• You are fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for a multinational environment
