Digital Marketing Specialist - REMOTE

You'll establish and maintain the processes necessary to create, deploy, and monitor marketing artifacts across social channels and make incremental website improvements.

What the job looks like:

You'll be a center of Flexion's marketing effort by identifying and implementing our marketing and branding strategies. You'll work closely with all aspects of Flexion, including leadership, business development, recruiting, project teams and Human Resources to help curate communications and marketing initiatives for distribution to clients and candidates through Flexion.us, our AWS presence, our membership in the Digital Services Coalition, social channels, and events.

  • Work with Flexioneers to enable Flexion to effectively tell its stories and raise awareness of our capabilities, experiences and passions
  • Craft efficient, lean marketing campaigns with small budgets to quickly experiment and learn what works best for conversions and awareness
  • Writing, editing, and maintaining our case study archive, blog articles, press releases, and thought-leadership pieces to help tell success stories relevant to specific opportunities
  • Facilitate an editorial calendar for online content, including photography, imagery, videos, blogs, editorial calendars, or other content that will optimize the online user experience.
  • Facilitate and help maintain Flexion's website and social channels
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication and marketing efforts through data analytics and tracking to create actionable insights
  • Create and manage digital marketing budget
  • Collaborate with Flexioneers and external resources to develop digital marketing content

You are an experienced digital marketing professional with a desire to both collaboratively identify our marketing strategy and work with a multidisciplinary team to tactically implement that strategy. You have a portfolio of experience that has helped a digital services or software organization increase potential business opportunities and attract future employees.

You have:

  • 4-7 years of digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-driven and can-do attitude
  • Strong research skills to inform marketing pieces
  • Hands on experience writing blog articles, press releases, and thought-leadership articles
  • Ability to ideate and execute on creative ad campaigns, thought-leadership articles, and other interactions using innovative visual media (images, video, etc.) on digital communication channels to support a company's brand, accomplishments, and recruiting efforts
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns, tools, and platforms
  • Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM tools and approaches
  • Hands-on experience maintaining an organization's website
  • Expertise with social media (LinkedIn) campaign management, data analytics (link tracking, CTR, etc.), and paid online advertising
  • Experience using LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Reddit, and other social media platforms to engage with potential clients and job candidates
  • A referenceable collection of work that demonstrates expertise in various aspects of digital marketing, such as successful campaigns, growth metrics, or engagement statistics
  • Experience working with a software engineering or digital services company
