Our Firm has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist in the Firmwide (One Cleveland Center), Columbus, or Cincinnati office. This is an exempt position that reports to the Digital Marketing Manager. As a member of the digital marketing team in the Firm's BD & Marketing department, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the team to execute a comprehensive digital media plan. This position requires experience managing and maintaining website and blog content, strategic planning, data analysis, and the ability to communicate persuasively and think critically. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a highly collaborative team, and be able to use good judgment when making decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Using the BD & Marketing Department's project management system, com, and working closely with the Business Development team, manage and process all website updates including client alerts, blogs, press releases and other insights.
  • Website Content Management - Regularly update and maintaining website content to reflect the latest information and services. This includes adding new content, editing existing content, and removing outdated information, including text, images and videos. Conduct regular audits of the website to ensure accuracy, consistency, and functionality.
  • Responsible for email marketing campaign deployment, including client alerts and event invites. Familiarity with Concep is a plus.
  • Use SEO practices when adding content to the website and/or blogs.
  • Provide monthly reporting on website, blog and social media.
  • Identify emerging trends to continue to improve website user experience, and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media best practices, primarily LinkedIn, while identifying emerging social media trends relevant to the legal industry.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and coordinate support when needed.
  • Coordinate special digital projects as needed and other duties as requested and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field is required along with a minimum of three (3) years of digital marketing experience. Law Firm or professional services experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with digital media management software--WordPress, Site Improve, Sprout Social, Vimeo, and a working knowledge of Google Analytics, HTML, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Proven aptitude to learn new software applications.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written. Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to be detail-oriented and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Outstanding creativity; flexibility and persistence; motivation and energy with the ability to work with little supervision and collaborate with other members of the team. A tolerance for uncertainty and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
