This is a full time onsite role - based in either Carlsbad (San Diego) or Rancho Mission Viejo (Orange County).

The Digital Marketing Specialist serves as Continuing Life's internal digital marketing expert, overseeing the execution, quality, and performance of enterprise digital marketing initiatives across multiple communities. Working closely with the Senior Director of Sales Innovation, internal stakeholders, and agency partners, this role ensures digital strategies are executed effectively, marketing technologies function accurately, campaigns are properly measured, and agency partners deliver against business objectives.

This position acts as the primary liaison between Continuing Life and its digital marketing partners, providing technical oversight, quality assurance, performance monitoring, and optimization recommendations across websites, digital campaigns, marketing automation, analytics, and CRM platforms. The Digital Marketing Specialist translates enterprise marketing strategies into effective technical execution while ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution and performance of enterprise digital marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with lead generation, occupancy, brand, and business objectives.
  • Manage agency partners responsible for paid media, SEO, website development, marketing automation, and digital campaigns, holding them accountable for quality, performance, and timely execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance, budgets, conversion metrics, and website analytics, providing recommendations to improve lead quality, conversion rates, ROI, and overall digital performance.
  • Coordinate website, landing page, blog, and digital content updates while performing quality assurance to ensure compliance with brand standards, ADA/EHO requirements, SEO best practices, and user experience expectations.
  • Oversee each community's digital presence, including SEO, Google Business Profiles, online business listings, local search visibility, and reputation management.
  • Support reputation management initiatives in partnership with community Marketing Directors.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other marketing technologies to evaluate agency performance, monitor website health, validate technical implementations, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and quality assurance of marketing technologies, including analytics, CRM, marketing automation, call tracking platforms, virtual sales assistants, and other digital marketing technologies to ensure accurate data collection, seamless integration, and optimal performance.
  • Coordinate agency partners in the execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives, including customer journeys, audience segmentation, marketing automation workflows, and lead nurturing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategies established by marketing leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity, accurate lead attribution, and seamless integration between websites, Salesforce CRM, marketing automation platforms, and other marketing technologies.
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reporting, executive summaries, and performance analyses that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Coordinate project timelines, campaign launches, digital assets, documentation, and standard operating procedures across multiple concurrent marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as the technical digital marketing resource for Continuing Life supported communities, collaborating with onsite marketing leaders, agency partners, developers, and vendors while identifying new technologies and best practices that advance Continuing Life's marketing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing websites, SEO, marketing automation, CRM platforms, digital analytics, and multi-channel digital marketing initiatives.
  • Experience working with external digital marketing agencies; multi-location or franchise marketing experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Salesforce CRM, marketing automation platforms, and digital marketing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, marketing automation, conversion optimization, analytics, and digital user experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to excellence.

Skills Required
