Let’s start with the role

In one sentence, this role is responsible for all campaigns and initiatives aimed at new user acquisition, as well as for the strategic management of the budget. The position requires a candidate to thoroughly oversee all work executed by the Performance Marketing team based in Greece. The ideal candidate should possess an end-to-end understanding of the user journey, from the initial digital campaign touchpoint through to successful conversion on Betano.bet.ar.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Be fluent in 'performance language' and demonstrate a deep understanding of the mechanics of each platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.). 
  • Analyze and optimize fluctuations within the acquisition funnel. 
  • Be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of Google PPC, Display, Social Media, Programmatic and SEM campaigns across major search engines and countries of operation. This includes account audits, keyword/ad optimization and mining, ad copy creation, device optimization and audience bidding.
  • Implement and track conversion events accurately via pixels and Conversion APIs.
  • Collaborate with the local team to plan new user offers and coordinate with the Greek creative teams on asset development and data sharing to drive campaign success.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. 
  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering Marketing or a related field.
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Fluency in English is a must; while native proficiency is not required, the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with the team in Greece is essential. 
  • Industry experience is not mandatory; however, it is critical that the candidate brings several years of experience in performance marketing, digital campaigns, user acquisition, and attribution models within B2C environments.
  • Effective and creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
