We're currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our DTC partnerships with leading brands. This is an opportunity to drive new growth for established brands with proven market success while working within a dynamic team of ecommerce specialists at Neato.
The Opportunity
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll lead the implementation of a comprehensive digital growth strategy, managing both the big-picture vision and hands-on execution across multiple channels. You'll have the autonomy to build and manage your team of agency partners and freelancers while working closely with Neato's leadership team and client stakeholders to ensure alignment with core values and positioning.
Role Overview
You'll orchestrate the client's digital presence across multiple channels, developing and executing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. You'll be responsible for leading content marketing, community management, UGC program development, organic social media, PR efforts, and email marketing initiatives for this growing pet care brand.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership (30%)
- Own the implementation of the client's comprehensive digital marketing strategy across all channels
- Develop channel-specific strategies, goals, and KPIs aligned with business objectives
- Manage and mentor a team of agency partners, freelancers, and contractors
- Collaborate with Neato leadership and client stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning
- Analyze performance data to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement
Partner & Vendor Management (25%)
- Source, vet, and manage third-party agencies and freelancers across specialized areas
- Develop clear scopes of work, expectations, and deliverables for all partners
- Establish effective communication and reporting frameworks with external teams
- Evaluate partner performance regularly against established KPIs
- Maintain budgets and timelines across multiple workstreams
Content & Community (25%)
- Lead content marketing strategy, including SEO-optimized blog content
- Oversee UGC program, including creator partnerships and campaign implementation
- Guide organic social media strategy and community management efforts
- Collaborate on PR and earned media initiatives to amplify brand reach
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all content platforms
Growth & Execution (20%)
- Roll up your sleeves to execute tactics when needed, particularly in areas of personal expertise
- Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategies
- Develop and oversee the implementation of email marketing initiatives
- Lead reporting on key metrics and ROI for digital initiatives
- Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and bring fresh ideas to the table
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Proven experience leading multi-channel digital marketing strategies (content, social, UGC)
- Experience managing agency partners, contractors, and freelancers effectively
- Strong background in content marketing and SEO strategy implementation
- Track record of building successful UGC or influencer marketing programs
- Demonstrated success in organic social media growth and community building
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the pet care or consumer packaged goods industry
- Background in e-commerce marketing and D2C strategy
- Established network of high-quality freelancers or agencies
- Hands-on experience with PR and earned media initiatives
- Understanding of email marketing best practices and automation
- Experience working in an agency or accelerator environment
- Experience with data analysis and marketing attribution modeling

Location
This position is preferably based at Neato's headquarters in Las Vegas, NV, with hybrid work options, but we will consider strong remote candidates. Some travel to client locations (approximately 1-2 times per quarter) and occasional visits to our Las Vegas office will be required, regardless of location.
