Role: Digital Marketing Manager 

Location: Remote, Canada 

About the role: 

OLIVER is seeking a dynamic cross-brand Digital Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of best-in-class digital content and experiences that drive strong performance with diverse consumer demographics across established and emerging platforms – with an primary focus on brand websites. Responsibilities will include project management, website agency oversight, and coordination with our Media, Brands, Martech, eCommerce, PR, influencer, and social media agencies to ensure that digital content and experiences are aligned to brand strategy, fit for channel purpose, and created with a consumer-first approach. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong executor, and inspired collaborator. This role will be deeply embedded with a set of brands and fully versed in brand and content strategy across channels. They will focus primarily on managing the delivery of on-strategy website content and experiences but will not work in a silo. This role will be empowered to identify opportunities for greater synergy and amplification between paid, owned and earned channels. That may include identifying an activation that is resonating in social, influencer, etc. and quickly bringing it to our internal and agencies teams to maximize across other channels including websites and beyond.

What you will be doing:   

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and marketing goals of the brands you support and ensure all website content & experiences are aligned to those goals and successfully launched on time and on budget.
  • Manage the website content calendar for your set of brands and update it with any timing or brand/media plan changes. Ensure master assets are requested and provided on time to deliver website content, flagging any issues.
  • Collaborate with agencies to implement SEO improvements for both branded and unbranded and help brands get discovered earlier in the consumer journey.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new features and tools, captivating content, UX improvements, CRO testing, and personalization to measurably improve website engagement
  • Deliver Product Detail Page updates, ensuring best practices are met for all new and hero products including strong ratings and reviews and where-to-buy experiences
  • Identify synergy and amplification opportunities with other channels including media, Influencer, PR and social
  • Coordinate closely with Social Media agency and other partners to expand social, UGC and creator presence on websites
  • Support efforts to increase organic onsite CRM acquisition through site experience optimization and CRO testing
  • Monitor website performance and share learnings with brands and cross-functional teams 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • BA/BS with preferred, but not mandatory, focus in Communications, Media, Marketing, Branding, or Liberal Arts. An equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience may also be considered.
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated experience with website marketing, SEO, UX and UI
  • Technical website understanding/experience with CMS platforms, mobile and site speed optimizations
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and bring fresh ideas to content and experience development while quickly adapting to feedback in a creative, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, coordinate content calendars, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on content strategies and storytelling approaches.
