Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content on AFIC@MCO’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) with step-by-step task breakdowns if needed.
- Track and report on social media performance, analyzing impressions, engagement, and growth with support tools to ensure ease of tracking
- Assist in designing and developing promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations to support AFIC@MCO’s outreach efforts. Work can be structured with visual aids and checklists for clarity.
- Assist in building an organized asset library that includes talking points, logos, branding guidelines, content, photos, and brand voice documentation. Support will be available to ensure tasks are manageable.
- Collaborate on improving website content and marketing materials to ensure messaging is clear, effective, and aligned with our mission. Feedback loops will be provided to support clear communication and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility in communication style.
- Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools. Supportive training will be offered as needed.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not required. We will offer adaptable onboarding.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with flexible work structures to meet individual needs.

- Pay: $15/hour
- Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Length of Internship: 3 months
