The Director of Digital Marketing and Operations for Hisense USA is responsible for growth, scale, and maturity of digital marketing capabilities to increase online awareness, engagement, consideration, and sales of Hisense brand products for the US market. The Director will develop and establish best practices for performance marketing (SEO, CRM, SEM), all paid media strategy and implementation, website management, CX and UX strategy and deployment, 1P data acquisition and management in order to increase high quality traffic to brand owned channels and ultimately drive sales. The Director will be the authority on investments in marketing technology and platforms, including CMS, CDP, and CRM. He/She will establish and maintain analytics and reporting dashboards to track SBU KPIs and ensure local goals are achieved. The Director will be responsible for Digital Marketing capabilities and maturity roadmap for the US to improve Marketing operations through a documented “digital playbook”, in an effort to reduce operational costs while improving marketing effectiveness (data-driven marketing and tailored/personalized consumer experiences).

The Director will identify areas of opportunity and improvement, and provide strategic direction and planning for all aspects of digital marketing and online consumer engagement/communications. He/She should communicate and collaborate with the main Hisense Strategic Business Units in the US, namely: Product Marketing, Go to Market, Channel Marketing / Sales and E-Commerce, serving as an inspiring leader and SPC to the local Brand and Digital Marketing teams, creating and implementing a consistently high standard of marketing excellence to make Hisense a highly competitive brand.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Hisense digital consumer experience strategy and implementation in the United States.
  • Understand US market business needs, capabilities, and requirements. Identify areas of improvement, opportunity, and excellence.
  • Increase communication and best practices sharing across the organization through featured case studies, and technical/technological resource sharing. Foster a winning a culture across the company where each department that touches Digital Marketing can learn and benefit from other’s wins, and insights.
  • Deploy and data-driven, consumer centric approach across the organization to grow our customer base, drive incremental sales, and increase customer lifetime value through loyalty and retention.
  • Responsible for marketing technology investments and deployment roadmap to ensure cost efficiencies, and effective scale of capabilities. Advise on 3P vendor and agency selections for each market to vet for sufficient competencies, and cost/budget competitiveness.
  • Advise on headcount and new talent requirements to improve internal capabilities.
  • Establish performance benchmarks (KPI) and measurement reporting and tracking.
  • Document and establish clear standard operating procedures (SOP) for website operation, paid media, 1P data acquisition and structure, MarTech deployment and management, performance marketing strategy and campaign execution. Constantly identify ways to optimize and improve Hisense digital marketing functions.
  • Communicate clearly, succinctly and regularly with leadership, team, agency partners and across functions and business groups to ensure strategy and implementation are clearly understood, agreed upon, measurable and consistent. Track and course correct as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, including performance marketing (SEO, SEM, CRM, paid media) and website management.
  • 5+ years in a senior digital leadership role, ideally as a Director or Senior Manager within a consumer electronics, durable goods, or retail organization.
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, traffic growth, and online sales.
  • Strong background in marketing operations, including MarTech ecosystem management (CMS, CDP, CRM) and data-driven performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing internal teams and external agencies, including creative, media, and digital production partners.
  • Hands-on experience managing website platforms (preferably Wix) and analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics 4, Data Studio, etc.).
  • Proven ability to launch and optimize new digital platforms, websites, or CMS systems within large organizations.
  • Experience developing digital capability maturity models, SOPs, or digital playbooks is highly desirable.

Digital Marketing & Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, CRM, Email Marketing, Retargeting, Programmatic, and Paid Social.
  • Expertise in 1P data strategy, consumer segmentation, and personalization.
  • Knowledge of CX/UX principles and ability to optimize digital touchpoints for conversion and engagement.
  • Familiarity with MarTech platforms such as HubSpot, Price Spider, Channel Sight or similar.
  • Experience with CMS management, especially Wix, or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Tag Manager).
  • Understanding of data privacy, cookie management, and compliance (CCPA, GDPR).

Operational & Management Skills:

  • Strong project management and operational discipline.
  • Ability to develop SOPs and digital playbooks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and agency contracts.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI and reducing costs through digital optimization.
