As Digital Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for helping to develop and manage marketing efforts for an OvationNetwork/AmEx GBT affiliate travel company with a global presence.  The ideal candidate will have copywriting and social media experience.

The Role

Social Media Management:

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across various platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Attend and share social media updates at community and industry events, capturing key moments to engage our audience and highlight our presence in the luxury travel industry.
  • Schedule and monitor posts, responding to followers and engaging in relevant accounts.
  • Track and report on social media metrics to inform future strategies.

Website Content Development & Blogging:

  • Collaborate and conduct topic research to gather insights, industry trends, and client-focused information for blog content.
  • Write and edit blog posts, ensuring content aligns with SEO best practices and brand voice.
  • Support overall site copy and content to make sure site is up to date.
  • Provide regular performance reports on site and blog initiatives.

Communications and Email Campaign Management:

  • Oversee existing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content modifications, and scheduling with our operations team.

Key Qualifications and Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, communications, or related field.
  • 1+ years of social media and copywriting experience.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality or service industries is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation design skills and ability to communicate via Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with an eye for design and a creative attitude towards problem-solving and storytelling.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills capable of effectively conveying information.
  • Comfortable working with global teams in various time zones.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The US national hourly wage range for this position is from $18.00 to $36.00 per hour.  The national range provided includes the hourly rate that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
