Position Overview

Hartford Funds is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented team member to support data automation, implementation, and delivery efforts for marketing materials at Hartford Funds. In this role, you will help maintain and improve automation workflows that make our marketing processes more efficient and scalable. You’ll assist in building new automation solutions, troubleshooting existing processes, and collaborating with team members to keep projects running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in marketing technology, automation, or digital content. You will gain hands‑on experience with Seismic and other tools, learn how automation supports the business, and contribute to projects that improve how we deliver marketing content

Key Responsibilities

Automation Management

  • Help with the production of quarterly marketing materials, ensuring they follow internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Support the compliance approval process for website updates and new marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Help manage content as it moves through the editorial and compliance review process.
  • Assist with automation projects by helping identify opportunities to streamline existing workflows.
  • Support the setup and rollout of new automation processes and procedures.
  • Help with the creation and updating of LiveDocs in Seismic.
  • Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives by coordinating tasks, working with subject matter experts, and helping keep projects on schedule.
  • Follow all documented compliance procedures and controls to ensure accurate and compliant content.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

· Experience with Seismic is a plus but not required.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to help keep projects on schedule and meet deadlines.

· Willingness to learn new technologies and tools; familiarity with relational databases is a plus.

· Prior marketing experience is helpful but not required.

· Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.

· Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

· Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with interest in developing stronger skills over time.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$45,000 - $70,000
