The Role

Job Description

In this role, you will help customers feel good and look their best by adhering to our digital advertising principles: customer-led strategies, emotionally engaging content, performance-driven marketing, and collaborative partnerships. You'll be a core member of a team that expands customer understanding, creates meaningful connections, and drives full-funnel marketing strategies, all while fostering an operational excellence culture and delivering results. Success in this role requires a proven track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results, effective communication, and a focus on achieving ambitious goals through scalable systems and innovative technologies.

A day in the life...

  • Develop and manage programmatic media strategies to achieve performance goals, including brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Execute and optimize campaigns across top platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, and others.
  • Analyze and interpret Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) data to inform decision-making and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and merchandising, to align campaign strategies with Nordstrom’s broader marketing objectives.
  • Oversee multi-million-dollar media budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, pacing, and ROI tracking.
  • Provide mentorship to team members and foster professional growth within the programmatic media team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to maintain Nordstrom’s competitive edge.

You own this if you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in programmatic media management, with hands-on expertise in platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar tools.
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar campaigns and achieving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) or MTA (Multi-Touch Attribution) analysis to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce or retail marketing is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex strategies and performance insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in advanced reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dynamic creative optimization (DCO) platforms and audience segmentation strategies is preferred.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing a team of media professionals is preferred.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $80,000-$155,000 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
