As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of our digital marketing strategy. You will play a key role in future business generation by identifying new digital marketing opportunities and improving our current efforts. You will help develop & execute digital marketing strategies & campaigns including website design & client/user experience, search optimization, paid digital, social media, and tracking ROI.
This role will work with the marketing team to plan, develop and execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns that create brand awareness and support the growth of Mauldin & Jenkins services.

  • Manage M&J website and intranet  by adding new content, optimizing website pages for readability and SEO, and updating pages as needed on WordPress
  • Analyze website traffic and site users and report findings to firm leaders
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and increase conversions on the website
  • Publishes standard content with an understanding of facet tagging, cross-linking, SEO, brand standards, design standards, etc.
  • Champions the user perspective and helps design website experiences to accelerate user engagement
  • Reviews site performance for aligned areas, and overall, to identify improvement opportunities
  • Manages editorial process & posting for social media campaigns across marketing, HR, and PR
  • Understand and manage search engines, social media, and email platforms to engage, measure and evolve effective digital marketing campaigns
  • Monitor digital marketing trends in the accounting industry to inform the digital strategy and guide the decision-making around digital marketing initiatives
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret digital performance/analytics data on an ongoing basis
  • Manage M&J intranet by adding and updating content on the intranet and associated app
  • Complete assigned tactics in a timely manner, communicating with broader team members
  • Proactively manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Monitor performance, and make adjustments as necessary in order to achieve success metrics
  • Provide critical thinking about the approach to campaign and tactical execution
     
Qualifications

Tech Skills:

  • Basic understanding of marketing best practices
  • Strong skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to learn other platforms within the digital marketing ecosystem
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and personal commitment to quality

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, web development or similar experience
  • BA/BS in marketing  with a focus on digital strategy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple items at various stages of development
  • Strong attention to detail

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with all levels of employees
  • Able to work independently & prioritize personal workload within team objectives
  • Strong team player with confidence to ask questions and offer suggestions

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, web development or similar experience
  • BA/BS in marketing with a focus on digital strategy
