The IT Operation Professional - Learning and Knowledge Infrasctructure performs a broad range of IT operations (including software installation and integration, update and release management, application customizing, change request evaluation and implementation, etc ) to ensure that given IT Operations of infrastructure landscapes are kept available to the business.
This position allows for remote working, with the preferred candidate located on the US East Coast or near one of the Siemens Healthineers posted locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technology Adoption and Integration (35%):
- Facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance digital learning experiences.
- Support the integration of AI-driven solutions for document analysis, creation, assessments, reporting, task automation, team upskilling, and efficiency improvements.
Project Management and Process Optimization (35%):
- Support the implementation of project management tools and workflows.
- Assist teams in streamlining processes and optimizing task management.
- Develop and implement automated workflows to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency and consistency.
- Enhance team productivity through the digital transformation of operations.
- Identify opportunities to utilize AI/LLM tools to optimize workflows.
Platform and Infrastructure Management (20%):
- Create and manage a platform strategy that meets business goals, maintains standards, and follows regulations.
- Contribute to planning, designing, and implementing IT environments for education and training infrastructure, ensuring data security, executing operational tests, and documentation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot diverse platforms used for educational development and training deployment.
- Ensure reliable infrastructure and seamless integration of digital learning tools.
User Support and Collaboration (10%):
- Train and support end users in using developed applications, create and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
- Interface and collaborate in interdisciplinary teams with relevant stakeholders in CS-LS SOS, CS-LS PDD, and Regions.
From time to time, the Digital Learning Infrastructure Specialist’s supervisor/manager may assign additional unlisted duties/responsibilities on a temporary or regular basis depending on business needs.
Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- The following Professional Certificate(s) and/or proven expertise may be considered in replacement of a formal degree.
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Enterprise Technology Integration certifications
- 8+ years professional experience with proven track record for the listed principal duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to assess team workflows, identify inefficiencies and recommend / design tailored digital solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying inefficiencies and developing technology-enabled solutions.
- Proficiency in managing cloud-based learning management systems.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 Platform tools (i.e., Power Apps).
- Proficiency in Azure Services: In-depth knowledge and experience with Azure services such as Azure DevOps and Azure Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for task automation.
- Strong understanding of database management, APIs, and system integration.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM technologies and their application in business processes.
- Ability to implement and manage AI-powered solutions for content creation, process optimization, and insights generation.
- Experience operating and supporting server and workstation-based infrastructures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult, train and support team members.
- Must be committed to on-going intellectual and professional development, including knowledge of current and emerging technology.
Additional Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of and experience with customer service-related knowledge and workforce skills enablement processes and tools
- Experience with workflow automation platforms (more specific on what type of automation platforms /examples)
- Understanding of user-centric design principles to ensure technology is accessible and intuitive.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple systems and projects simultaneously.
- Background in the healthcare diagnostics industry.

The base pay range for this position is
Min $104,000 - Max $156,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
