Greenberg Traurig has an excellent opportunity for an Associate to join the Digital Infrastructure practice. This position can be based in our Miami, Washington, DC, Chicago or Northern Virginia office. The Digital Infrastructure and Cloud Computing Practice is composed of a dedicated team of attorneys with experience advising clients in virtually every type of cloud transaction in more than 100 countries, including some of the largest data center operators and content and cloud service providers in the world. We regularly represent data center operators, cloud service providers, telecommunications carriers, content providers, investors and lenders in connection with data center acquisitions, leases and development projects, terrestrial network deals, and submarine cable consortium and private subsea cable contracts. The successful candidate will be an attorney with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and leadership in this practice area. The work will include the full gamut of transactions, including negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, data center leases and development agreements, service level agreements, loan documents, and operating/joint venture agreements.
This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. Candidates must be admitted to or be eligible for admission to the relevant jurisdiction.

The expected pay range for this position is:
Chicago and Washington D.C. range is $225,000- $260,000 per year
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
