Job Description- Lead the identification, mapping, and cataloging of data assets, entities, attributes, and business relationships across organizational domains.
- Gather, document, and analyze source systems, data flows, business rules, and application dependencies to ensure end-to-end data lineage.
- Collaborate directly with Data Owners, Data Stewards, business areas, and architecture teams to validate, formalize, and establish robust data governance practices.
- Identify information gaps, data quality issues, and continuous improvement opportunities within data management processes.
- Ensure consistent documentation and management of metadata, supporting analytical, operational, and AI-driven initiatives across the organization.
- Apply data modeling concepts to structure and streamline business data architecture effectively.
- Solid experience as a Data Governance Analyst, Data Steward, or Data Strategy Consultant, with a strong emphasis on business data assets over pure data engineering.
- Proven track record in data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks. Strong technical proficiency in T-SQL for data analysis, validation, and exploration.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and enterprise data domains.
- Valued knowledge/exposure: Microsoft Fabric, Medallion Architecture, and Data Mesh concepts. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge business needs with technical architecture.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
