Job purpose:
As a Digital HR Team Lead you will be leading a team of Digital HR Specialists in effective issue management and general business support related to our Global HR Systems, such as SuccessFactors, SAP ECC and ServiceNow. This role acts as the main escalation point for Digital HR team when issues, decisions or process clarifications are required. The role also handles the day-to-day triage of work to the Digital HR team, assuring clear objectives, removal of barriers as needed, and monitoring of the quality of services provided. This role will also act as a key subject matter expert as new systems or enhancements are added to our HR technology landscape.
Working with the Sr Manager, Digital HR and HR Process Improvement Lead, you will also appropriately prioritize and schedule improvement items or key business support activities, to maintain proper delivery and utilization of our core systems. As needs for incremental changes to our systems are identified, this role will be the main triage point for evaluating the need and determining if the work can be completed as part of business support work or if it should be brought through the technology improvement process.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Digital HR Specialist team by setting clear objectives, aligning work to enable those objectives, and working in an agile manner to ensure the flow of work and removal of barriers.
  • Participate in capacity & resource planning to ensure key deliverables and team objectives are being met and appropriate commitments to business stakeholders are made on timelines and level of support available.
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and assignment of work to Digital HR Specialists when continuous improvements (minor changes) to our Global Systems are required to enable HR processes.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Digital HR team by triaging HR Service issues and business support related activities for our Global HR systems and act as primary escalation point for Digital HR operations.
  • Occasionally perform duties of a Digital HR Specialist when case queue/demand goes beyond capacity of the team.
  • Help identify areas of improvement through the analysis of issue trends and funnel input through the Technology Improvement process or work with necessary stakeholders to address where system changes are not required.
  • Ensure release upgrades, patches, system refreshes, and critical business cycles (such as compensation, performance, or objective launch) are effectively supported by Digital HR specialists and key activities take place to do so - i.e., training, documentation, change management, etc.
  • Enable effective system adoption and use through training, documentation, and issue analysis.
  • Support HR technology projects where needed as a subject matter expert/consultant. Effectively operationalize support by the Digital team of the system or enhancements implemented where required, ensuring appropriate process decisions are made, documented, knowledge transfer occurs, hyper care handoffs, etc.
  • Standard managerial activities apply such as the recruitment and onboarding of Digital HR Specialists as required, coaching, development check ins, performance check ins, year-end performance reviews, and enabling engagement through recognition and feedback.


About You:

  • 3-5 years supporting HR Technology experience is required
  • Previous experience with leading processes related to issue management is beneficial, as well as experience working in an agile manner
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Information Technology or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience working with, and being a key subject matter expert of SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow or similar HR tools is preferred
  • Strong critical analysis of problems, process design thinking, ability to understand the integration and data flows of information across systems
  • Strong project planning & management skills with the ability to prioritize workload according to impact and manage multiple tasks without close supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with stakeholders at various levels (end user, manager, director)
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive personnel information
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team
  • Fluent in English language is a must.
