Job Description

The Digital Experience and AI Innovation Manager builds out two main programs within Rockwell Automation, Lifecycle Services. First, the Digital Customer Experience, which brings together our external web interfaces to delivery customer insights, entitlements, support, pricing, and many other customer self-service focus areas. Second, the Digital Experience and AI innovation manager will lead our AI2 (AI Acceleration & Innovation) team. Reporting to the Director of Business Process' and Systems, this newly stood up team is chartered to acceleration AI use cases to value by…

  • Encourage Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by helping teams experiment with technology, receive training and certifications, work with other SMEs, and test their ideas in a POC/sandbox environment.
  • Scale Ideas and Use Cases: Lead a governance team to review incoming use cases and determine which ideas will receive investment to grow and deliver tangible value.
  • Navigate Challenges: Apply project management skills to overcome common challenges such as data integrity, development resources, user adoption, and incomplete project justification. Review progress and ensure AI technology investments produce returns.
Your Responsibilities:
  • You will provide leadership and daily management to a team consisting of direct reports, contracts, and shared service employees, including product owner(s), tech lead(s), and data scientist(s)
  • You will manage a multi-million dollar project budget and achieve investment ROI's, including providing regular status update to partners.
  • You will ensure on time and quality release of main technology deliverables.
  • You will lead collaboration across teams in an Agile process in tools such as Jira on the development of new digital experiences to achieve financial and digital goals.
  • You will work in a environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.
  • You will vendor Management: Engage and manage relationships with external AI technology vendors and partners.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • The ability to travel up to 10%
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5 years + experience in a similar role within a tech-driven or organization.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to guide decision-making.
  • Ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Innovation Mindset: A forward-thinking and approach with experience with new AI technologies.
  • Project Management: project management skills with experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with multiple AI technologies from low code to custom development, internally built and off the shelf use cases across a large engineering-centric global organization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenAI, or Co-Pilot Studio.
  • Certifications in AI or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
