Your Role
Are you passionate about television? Do you have experience creating digital content for the entertainment industry, with your finger on the pulse of digital media trends? Can you blend bold creativity with a sharp eye for detail to turn emerging trends into engaging digital realities? If so, we want to hear from you!
As a Digital Editor for television and entertainment content, you will work within the Digital Television team to showcase network programming, produce engaging promotional material, and maximize content reach and discoverability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Productions, Content Marketing, Programming, Marketing & Communications and Promotion teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and produce highly discoverable digital content to promote television programming.
- Craft compelling, creative copy and headlines tailored specifically to digital audiences.
- Travel to production sets to conduct engaging, professional interviews with cast, crew and creators.
- Write and produce content for the Radio-Canada website.
- Edit photos.
- Select and clip impactful, high-engagement show highlights.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, align cross-departmental needs and contribute the editorial calendar.
- Stay ahead of platform-specific trends and best practices.
- Maintain a strategic vision aligned with objectives set with the relevant teams.
- Analyze performance metrics, deliver actionable recommendations and adapt content strategies accordingly.
- Safeguard the brand’s interests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, literature or a related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience working in a cultural, media or entertainment environment.
Skills:
- Interest in and deep understanding of the Canadian French-language television industry and its star system.
- Solid grasp of television storytelling, narrative structures and tropes in TV fiction.
- Strong ability to use video processing tools.
- Robust knowledge of SEO best practices for digital content.
- Solid French writing skills and excellent command of written French.
- A natural instinct for digital formatting, copywriting and platform best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for work quality.
- Independent, proactive mindset.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively.

- Availability to work a flexible schedule, as hours may vary depending on production assignments.
