This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Your Role

 

Are you passionate about food, cooking and modern food culture? Do you have experience creating culinary content and a deep understanding of the digital food space? Can you blend bold creativity with sharp attention to detail to turn emerging food trends into engaging digital realities? If so, we want to hear from you!


As a Digital Editor for culinary content, you will work within the Digital Television team to bring the Mordu brand to life across social media platforms, produce engaging promotional material, and maximize content reach and discoverability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Productions, Content Marketing, Programming, Marketing & Communications and Promotion teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and grow Mordu’s social media communities.
  • Engage with users and foster community interaction.
  • Craft compelling, creative copy and headlines tailored specifically to digital audiences.
  • Write and produce content for the Mordu website and social media channels.
  • Respond to user inquiries and feedback regarding recipes and food content.
  • Produce and distribute the Mordu newsletter, manage subscriber lists and track key performance metrics.
  • Stay ahead of platform-specific trends and best practices.
  • Maintain a strategic vision aligned with objectives set with the relevant teams.
  • Manage a publication calendar.
  • Analyze performance metrics, deliver actionable recommendations and adapt content strategies accordingly.
  • Safeguard the brand’s interests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years’ relevant experience.

Skills:

  • Interest in and deep understanding of the culinary world, food trends and contemporary food culture.
  • Strong ability to use video processing tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of major social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
  • Relevant experience in community management.
  • Solid French writing skills and excellent command of written French.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for work quality.
  • Independent, proactive mindset.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.

  • French language assessment.
  • Practical skills test related to the role.
  • Interview.
