Digital Director

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)
Level: Director / Senior Leadership
Language Requirements: Fluent in Spanish & English

Edelman is looking for a strategic, hands-on, and inspiring Digital Director to lead and evolve our digital capabilities in Mexico and Latin America. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, client leadership, team development, and regional collaboration.

As Digital Director, you’ll be a trusted advisor to senior clients, a mentor to a high-performing digital team, and a key partner in scaling Edelman’s digital footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Strategy.

Lead senior client engagements, acting as a strategic digital advisor and problem solver.
Develop and oversee integrated digital strategies across social media, paid media, SEO, and web.
Ensure solutions align with client business goals and deliver measurable impact.
Collaborate with practice leads to co-create standout, insight-led programs.
Identify and drive new opportunities for growth within client relationships.

People Leadership & Culture.

Lead and mentor our Mexico-based digital team with empathy and excellence.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Champion cross-practice integration with a One Edelman mindset.
Recruit and retain top digital talent by cultivating a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Regional & Capability Integration.

Partner with LATAM digital leaders to align on priorities, share knowledge, and elevate performance.
Contribute to regional initiatives such as innovation pilots and case study development.
Represent Mexico in cross-market forums and drive opportunities for collaboration.

Operations & Financial Stewardship.

Ensure profitability and delivery excellence across digital projects and retainers.
Lead on forecasting, staffing, and budget oversight in collaboration with finance and leadership.

What We’re Looking For.

8–10+ years of digital marketing or digital communications experience (agency preferred).
Proven track record leading complex client engagements and digital teams.
Deep knowledge of paid, earned, owned, and shared digital ecosystems.
Skilled in data-informed strategy, consulting, and execution.
Experience working in regional or matrixed organizations is a plus.
Bilingual: Spanish & English (required).
A passionate, curious, and collaborative leader committed to innovation and impact.
