Position Purpose:

The primary duty of the Digital Content Supervisor is to create and implement workflows, processes, and collaborative efforts among different departments to handle Digital Content projects. They are responsible for overseeing Digital Marketing and Marketing requests for all supported websites. Their main focus is on maintaining content quality, brand consistency, and managing digital assets. Additionally, they ensure effective communication and collaboration within the Digital Technologies Department, as well as with other departments and external vendors when required.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide implementation recommendations based on ministry brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Build out task workflows and assign work to appropriate team members.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to support team efficiency and consistency.
  • Provide project status updates and communicate timeline changes or concerns to stakeholders.
  • Assist with ROI reviews and risk analysis where applicable.
  • Monitor digital content for accuracy, consistency, functionality, and alignment with ministry brand standards.
  • Perform and coordinate quality control checks throughout the content workflow.
  • Identify content errors or quality issues and work with team members to ensure corrections are completed in a timely manner.
  • Track recurring quality issues and recommend workflow, training, or process improvements to help reduce errors.
  • Maintain a working understanding of all tools being used within the team to assist with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and feedback to direct reports to support team performance and individual growth.
  • Train and coach team members on current digital content strategies, quality standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Expert project management and task workflow skills are critical to the success of this position.
  • Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies and media implementation strategies.
  • Detail-minded with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to collect, analyze, and present strategic recommendations based on data collected through multiple industry-standard methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • A Charis Bible College graduate is preferred. 
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Project Management, Team Management, or related fields.
  • Additional experience in digital content, graphics, or database platforms is preferred.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
