Brightspot is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Content Publisher to join our content team. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of customers to implement their content strategies, curate compelling digital content, and contribute to the growth of their online presence. Your ability to blend technical expertise with creative insights will be crucial in generating high-quality content that attracts and retains audiences across various digital properties.

The ideal candidate will curiously explore the ins and outs of Brightspot, be detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who will proactively reach out to project leaders as they complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their content strategies, goals, and target audiences.
  • Utilize the Brightspot content management system to publish, manage, and optimize digital content across multiple platforms and websites.
  • Migrate, curate, edit, and format content to ensure it aligns with customer brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Create engaging headlines, copy, and multimedia elements to enhance the visual and textual appeal of published content.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility, searchability, and organic traffic generation.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product managers and content strategists, to ensure cohesive content delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of content calendars, editorial schedules, and content distribution strategies.
  • Offer training and guidance to clients on using the Brightspot platform effectively for content creation and publishing.
  • Provide a watchful eye to escalate quality assurance concerns that are discovered while publishing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in using content management systems; experience with Brightspot is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform content strategies.
  • Positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
