Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their content strategies, goals, and target audiences.
- Utilize the Brightspot content management system to publish, manage, and optimize digital content across multiple platforms and websites.
- Migrate, curate, edit, and format content to ensure it aligns with customer brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Create engaging headlines, copy, and multimedia elements to enhance the visual and textual appeal of published content.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility, searchability, and organic traffic generation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product managers and content strategists, to ensure cohesive content delivery.
- Contribute to the development of content calendars, editorial schedules, and content distribution strategies.
- Offer training and guidance to clients on using the Brightspot platform effectively for content creation and publishing.
- Provide a watchful eye to escalate quality assurance concerns that are discovered while publishing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in using content management systems; experience with Brightspot is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform content strategies.
