  • Create engaging headlines, push alerts, and metadata optimized for SEO and social performance.
  • Monitor scanners, social feeds, and wires for breaking news and emerging content opportunities.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent newsroom experience.
  • Strong writing, spelling, and AP Style proficiency.

  • Proficient in shooting and editing both photos and video using DSLR, mobile, or ENG equipment.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexible schedule — must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as news demands.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Confident on-camera presence and/or hosting ability.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop) and Canva.
  • Experience with livestreaming, OTT/CTV publishing, and YouTube optimization.
