Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Digital Content Intern to support our team this summer. This role will help enhance our existing descriptive workflows across external publishing platforms. It’s a great opportunity for someone interested in digital marketing who wants hands-on experience working with real content and industry tools.
 
Key responsibilities include uploading blog content in WordPress using pre-designed templates to create a cohesive and engaging layout, sourcing relevant images from Shutterstock, and performing basic image edits in Photoshop. You’ll also support efforts to expand and optimize content across platforms such as WordPress and YouTube descriptions.
 
Throughout the internship, you’ll gain practical experience with digital publishing workflows, learn how content teams prepare and format posts for live audiences, and build foundational skills in content management, visual presentation, and user-friendly formatting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of creative and technical tasks and thrives in a flexible, supportive, fully remote environment. Many responsibilities can be taught, though familiarity with WordPress or Photoshop is a plus.

Responsibilities:

    • Assist in creating blog posts in WordPress, copying and pasting text into templates or pre-designed blocks
    • Add and adjust images within WordPress, including finding, resizing, and uploading images from Shutterstock
    • Move, copy, and organize blocks within WordPress to ensure a clean and cohesive layout
    • Create jump links within blog posts/YouTube descriptions for easy navigation and improved user experience
    • Edit black and white images in Photoshop as needed to fit blog post requirements
    • Convert PDF files into GIF format as needed for blog posts.
    • Adhere to deadlines and remain flexible to switch to different projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be a graduate or 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student
    • Must be available at least 25 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer internship program 
    • Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, with the ability to work in person at our Glendale, CA headquarters a minimum of two days per week 
    • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and attention to detail
    • Ability to work with deadlines and adapt to new projects or changes as needed
    • Willingness to learn new skills and work with new software and applications
    • Strong attention to detail, with an eye for layout and design consistency
    • Ability to work independently in a hybrid (on-site and remote) environment, with clear communication skills
    • Familiarity with WordPress, YouTube and Photoshop is preferred but not required

Total Compensation:
The estimated hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 USD. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
