About the role:
As a Digital Content & Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping how information is communicated, shared, and adopted across internal teams and client environments within the renewables and energy networks space.
This role sits at the intersection of digital content, communication, and collaboration platforms. You will create engaging visual and video content, support the design and upkeep of SharePoint sites and digital hubs, and help drive engagement with Microsoft 365 tools. The focus is on enabling effective information management, improving user experience, and supporting adoption through clear, accessible content.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, programme teams, and clients to ensure digital content and communication assets are aligned, consistent, and deliver measurable value.
As the Digital Content & Communications Coordinator, you will:
- Create engaging digital content, including short-form videos, visual assets, one-pagers and campaign materials to support internal and client-facing initiatives.
- Produce, edit and optimise video content using tools such as Canva and Clipchamp, incorporating stakeholder feedback where required.
- Create, configure and maintain business-facing SharePoint sites and digital hubs using standard Microsoft 365 functionality.
- Support the ongoing improvement of digital hubs through content updates, structure, navigation and user-focused design.
- Coordinate, facilitate and deliver Microsoft 365 and SharePoint training sessions to support user adoption.
- Support communication and engagement initiatives, including success stories, showcases, campaigns and IM Academy activities.
- Liaise with leadership and cross-functional teams to gather input, ensure alignment and support effective information sharing.
- Track engagement and adoption across SharePoint and Viva Engage, providing insights and simple reporting on content performance and user behaviour.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of digital communication practices and assets.
Requirements
- Experience in a digital content, communications, internal communications or digital workplace role.
- Practical experience creating and maintaining SharePoint sites or intranet-style digital hubs.
- Experience producing visual and video content using tools such as Canva, Clipchamp or similar.
- An understanding of Microsoft 365 tools and how they support collaboration and communication.
- Ability to manage multiple pieces of work, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with a range of stakeholders.
- A user-focused mindset, with an interest in engagement, adoption and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Power BI or basic reporting tools is beneficial but not essential.
